Overview:

Our client is currently delivering a major construction project across London involving the management of a major logistics function. We are looking to recruit four individuals to work with the vehicle dispatch team as incident response assistants.  This team dispatches vehicles around London at short notice and handles responses to incidents on a 24 hour basis.

Successful applicants to these roles will be working night shifts in central London and will be charged with the following:

  • Receiving calls from sites and external sources relating to incidents that have occurred at those sites
  • Assessing nature of calls and assigning an appropriate response based on the seriousness of those calls
  • Logging calls
  • Administering an IT system logging vehicle movements around London

To apply for this role you must meet the following criteria:

  • Call handling experience relating to incident response
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in a call centre environment that dispatches vehicles, for example Emergency services, Taxis, Logistics, Mail, Supply chain.
  • An appreciation of the construction industry is beneficial but not essential
  • Candidates must be available to work nights and occasional weekends. There will be no day work involved.

These roles are staff roles offering excellent salaries of circa £25,000 with night work adjustments taking them up to around £30,000 per annum.
