Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP45,000

They have over 40 years experience within the safe decommissioning, waste management and environmental remediation industry and are continuing to provide engineering designs on various projects for the upcoming years. They are a unique organisation and have over 180 nuclear facilities and one of the largest inventories of untreated nuclear waste in the world.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications;

* Have suitable qualifications, standard requirements
* Excellent written and verbal skills, excellent computer abilities alongside relevant software skills
* Architectural Graduate to RIBA 2 minimum or Experienced Technician with Technical qualifications
* Production of Drawings and information for large projects, e.g., nuclear or another complex design sector

It is ideal but not essential to have;

* Design experience of work on BIM led projects, with REVIT software and data management tools

The Role

As a highly experienced Architectural Technician, you will be based in Warrington and be fully conversant in using Revit. Further to this, you will be able to coordinate design solutions with other design disciplines, ranging from; Civils and Drainage to Mechanical and Electrical. You will liaise with the wider design team to ensure that all works are completed on time, to the client's specification and on budget.


* Leadership and motivational skills
* Preparing designs using CAD software and traditional drawing methods
* Prepare documents to help with planning permission and other approvals
* Attend regular check-in meetings for progress reviews and design decisions
* Work independently and take responsibility for any decision making on projects
* Use strong design coordination skills while assuming a leadership role within the design teams
* Analyse architectural plans and drawings, highlight any possible risk or problem and make amendments using CAD
* Liaise with the Architect, Surveyors and any other construction professionals while sometimes managing the design team
