The Project

As a highly experienced Bid Writer you will manage all prequalification and tender submissions for the North East & Yorkshire region. You will oversee, monitor and offer advice on the preparation and updating of project programmes, tender planning, bid coordination, logistics planning and pre qualifications.


For this role it is essential that you carry the following skills & experience as a minimum;

* Relevant software skills with some of the following programmes Microsoft Office, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe, Microsoft Project, Focalpoint, Lotus Notes, Docspro, Dochosting
* Industry specific knowledge of Bid Writing within the Construction market

* Project: Prequalification and tender submissions for new build and refurbishment projects across various sectors
* Reporting to: Bid Manager


* Generate and amend presentations
* Create and edit pre-qualification documents
* Capture and gather evidence to support submissions
* Liaise with the wider Pre-construction team for technical content
* Produce promotional / marketing materials and award submissions
* Manage the submission content as part of the wider bid process
* Construct and develop relationships with important business sector teams
* Write and edit potential statements and expression of interest documents
* Pull together and shape construction information into compelling submissions
* Produce high-quality documents and submissions in line with identified deadlines
* Analysis and review of previous submissions and document learning for implementation in future bids and contribute to generation of bid asset library content
