The Project

As a Bid Writer based in the head office you will play a crucial role in the pre-con and work winning team to aid the successful and timely submission of high quality bids. You will work closely with bid managers, directors, operational specialists and proposal designers to create high-impact responses and satisfy the client requirements.



Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* Qualified to degree level / equivalent industry related qualification

It is also essential that you hold the skills & experience below;

* High level working knowledge of MS Word
* Experience in working on public framework schemes

* Job Title: Bid Writer
* Job Type: Permanent
* Project: Prequalification and tender submissions for new build and refurbishment projects across various sectors
* Reporting to: Bid Manager

Duties

* Generate and amend presentations
* Create and edit pre-qualification documents
* Capture and gather evidence to support submissions
* Liaise with the wider Pre-construction team for technical content
* Produce promotional / marketing materials and award submissions
* Manage the submission content as part of the wider bid process
* Construct and develop relationships with important business sector teams
* Write and edit potential statements and expression of interest documents
* Pull together and shape construction information into compelling submissions
* Produce high-quality documents and submissions in line with identified deadlines
* Analysis and review of previous submissions and document learning for implementation in future bids and contribute to generation of bid asset library content
