The Project

Working on various core sector projects and framework programmes including; Education, MoJ, MoD, Healthcare and Blue Chip schemes with values between £5m - £40m


It is essential that you hold the skills & experience below;

* Knowledge in the use of Asta Power Project / Microsoft Project
* Computer literate and commercially astute with excellent communication skills
* Experience of working as a Planner on new build and refurbishment schemes with values in excess of £5m

The Role

* Job Title: Planner
* Job Type: Permanent
* Projects: £5m - £40m - Various core sector projects and framework programmes including; Education, MoJ, MoD, Healthcare and Blue Chip schemes
* Reporting to: Planning Manager


* Assist in requirement planning for the project
* Development plans and planning applications
* Advising stakeholders on planning policy and regulations
* Carry out continuous research to keep the company at the forefront of technology
* Communicate the projects expectations and performance measures to key stakeholders
* Prepare proposals and site plans in conformance with codes and local and national regulations
* Attending and presenting at proposal meetings, while assisting the Design Team and Commercial Team
* Provide planning management and support to both the pre-contract and contract operations for the business
* Gather relevant statistical data and drafts reports on issues such as demographic information, occupancy rates, and land use
* Assist with the mentoring and development of Trainee Planners, Graduate Planners, Assistant Planners and Planners if the need arises
* Pricing of prelims as part of tender submissions and analysis of Labour Resource & Plant
