Our client is a prestigious global developer with an exceptional track record of delivering luxury and award winning flagship destinations. At present they hold a £50bn project portfolio with a further £3bn secured for the next 10 years. They have delivered an array of high profile projects within the retail, commercial and residential sectors across the UK.

The Project

A major new build, private residential scheme based in East London. The overall build value exceeds £670m and will deliver 1200 new homes across various high rise accommodation blocks which will include amenities such as; gyms, a swimming pool, workspace and high-quality public areas.


For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* CSCS Black Card

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

* At least 10 years of experience delivering large scale new build / refurbishment projects in a management position.

The Role

* Job Title: Senior Construction Manager / Senior Project Manager
* Job Type: Permanent
* Project: £600m New Build Private Residential Scheme
* Reporting To: Project Director


* Meeting regularly with clients, third parties and other managers to report on progress
* Evaluate and assess equipment and recommend designs for the project team integrating safety measures
* Lead, direct, assist and support construction teams to ensure deliverable processes on time and within the budget
* Discussing the quality of assignments with employees and emphasising areas that require improvement in the future
* Conducting site visits to inspect work, check materials and ensure staff are following health and safety guidelines
* Collaborating with executive-level Managers, and providing relevant feedback about performance of individual employees and the department
* Prepare detailed, accurate timely project reports including work schedules, implementations, deviations, change in subcontractors, customer issues and other related problems
* Proven success in providing on site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
* Co ordinate trades / subcontractors and have responsibility for the safety and quality on site to ensure the projects are delivered on time, within budget, safely and to the correct standards
* Strong leadership skills including experience in leading site teams, large programmes of work and has the confidence and ability to lead, influence and communicate with others to deliver targets
