The Project

Looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager on a Student Accommodation development in Birmingham consisting of a 500-bed accommodation block and multi storey car park. It will be a state of the art low carbon campus with an overall value of approximately £100m.

You will be overseeing four blocks from inception to completion, managing approximately£40m of build.


For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

* CSCS Black Card

It is also essential you carry the following experience;

* Successfully managing new build / refurbishment projects from inception to completion
* Experience delivering similar size projects in a Senior / Site Management position with a Tier 1 contractor

* Health & Safety
* Manage the KPIs
* Progress Reporting
* Updating Site Diaries
* Inductions / Toolbox Talks
* Quality Inspections / Snagging
* Ordering / Receiving of materials
* Attending and Participating in Project meetings
* Management of onsite labour including subcontractors
* Reporting in to and working closely with the Senior Management Team and project stakeholders
* You will interact with both construction professionals and the client whilst managing a high pressure and busy environment
* Fully responsible for the successful operational delivery of Projects on site ensuring safety, product quality, are completed within the contracted timescales, safely and within financial controls
* Strong leadership skills including experience in leading site teams, large programmes of work and has the confidence and ability to lead, influence and communicate with others to deliver targets
