For this role, it is essential that you are competent in the following;

* Previous experience working on new build / refurbishment projects within the residential / accommodation sector

The Role

As a highly-skilled Site Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations on the internals of a new build high rise residential block on a £200m major mixed use development in the East Midlands. You will interact with both construction professionals and the client whilst managing a high pressure and busy environment. Further to this, you will be organising and overseeing the site team and all construction procedures to ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner, without exceeding the budget.

* Carry out programme and budget evaluations
* Liaising with the end client and key stakeholders
* Management of onsite labour and subcontractors
* Oversee and implement health & safety regulations
* Negotiate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
* Liaise with the commercial team on estimating costs and timeframes
* Planning and monitoring works and regularly reviewing the programme
* Work with the client from the start of the project to ensure you understand the project scope and vision
* Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
