Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

For this role you must possess the following;

* Experience in a purchasing / supply chain role
* Experience in a construction & engineering environment

The Role

As an experienced Procurement Manager you will report to the regional head office in West Yorkshire managing effective procurement solutions to new clients, major contracts and the wider business. You will initially work on a major fast food framework contract and oversee the procurement and management of the purchase of materials and services while ensuring all supply chain issues are resolved.


* Assist sites with problem resolution on any supply chain related issues
* Adhere to the company's quality procedures and principles at all times
* Develop specific purchasing strategies that support the company's objectives
* Implement new strategies that aid and support the increase turnover of the business
* Provide a responsive and pro-active knowledge base as the leader of the commodity team
* Assist with problem solving during the implementation and maintenance of buying strategies
* Ensure appropriate and accurate supplier contracts, KPIs and SLAs are negotiated with key suppliers
